KELOWNA – The Okanagan Rockets took advantage of their power plays for another victory at the Mac’s Midget Tournament.
The Rockets went 3 for 6 on the power play in a 6 – 2 victory over the Cariboo Cougars.
The team is now 2 – 0 – 1 at the Calgary based tournament.
Liam Finlay scored a pair of goals in the win. Also scoring for the Rockets were Kristian Blumenschein, Cory Santoro, Jake Kryski and Tyson Jost.
Jost was named the Rockets Easton game star with one goal and one assist in the victory.
The win sets up a first place showdown for pool 4 between the Rockets and the Notre Dame Argos. The winner will take the pool and book their spot in the Quarterfinals.
That game takes place on Monday December 30 at 2:30 p.m.
