KAMLOOPS - Thieves cut through a closed up window to get into a building on Aviation Way where they allegedly stole property Sunday, but they made it easy for police to find them.

The same evening, police were told a suspicious person and vehicle was at the very same location and when Mounties arrived, they took two men into custody.

The following investigation revealed some of the property reported stolen might be located at a hotel room in the Aberdeen area. The Targeted Enforcement Unit searched the room and located the items along with property believed stolen from other break-ins. A woman was arrested in the hotel room, but later released.

The two men being investigated for trespassing at night and possession of stolen property were arrested and released on a promise to appear in court.

The investigation continues.
