KELOWNA - Two alleged drug traffickers were charged after a three-month RCMP investigation targeting prolific offenders in the community.

The men, Jonathan Orgill, 33, and Kody Perrault, 21, along with a third unnamed person were taken into custody following the search of a residence on the 1200 block of Leathead Road August 1. With a warrant in hand, officers were able to enter the address and found drugs, cash, weapons and stolen property.

Mounties seized 88.7 grams of methamphetamine, 61 grams of cocaine, 15.5 grams of heroin, 49.4 grams of marijuana, 11 grams of hash oil, 244 prescription pills, 32 vials of anabolic steroids, drug paraphernalia, $4100, a taser-type weapon and a stolen motorcycle.

Orgill and Perrault are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, appearing in court August 12. Police did not offer information about the third person taken into custody. Additional charges may be recommended as the investigation continues.
