KAMLOOPS - The Kamloops Blazers have released their promotional schedule for the first half of the WHL season.

The Kamloops Blazers Zimmer Autogroup Home Opener kicks off the promotional schedule as the hockey club hosts the defending WHL Champion Kelowna Rockets on Saturday, Sept. 26.

The home opener will feature a Party on the Plaza from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with lots of family friendly activities.

All regular season single game tickets will go on sale Monday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. at the Kamloops Blazers Box Office or online.

Kids’ Nights are back this season as Saturday, Oct. 10, Friday, Oct. 30, and Friday, Nov. 20 will all be Kids’ Nights in the first half of the home schedule. With the purchase of an adult or senior ticket to a Kids’ Night game, you will receive a free child ticket for that game.

Other promotional nights in the first half include the Safeway Breast Cancer game on Friday, Oct. 23, Food Bank Night on Dec. 4 and Teddy Bear Night on Dec. 5.

A new promotion that will run all season is Winning Wednesdays.

If you attend a Kamloops Blazers home game on a Wednesday and the Blazers win, each ticket for that game can be redeemed for a free ticket of the same value to the next Wednesday home game.

The Blazers have also introduced a new five-game feature ticket pack. The feature pack will include:
Safeway Breast Cancer Night – Friday, Oct. 23 vs. Calgary Hitmen
Teddy Bear Night – Saturday, Dec. 5 vs. Medicine Hat Tigers
Hockey Day in Canada – Saturday, Feb. 6 vs. Edmonton Oil Kings
TBA – Friday, March 4 vs. Kelowna Rockets
Fan Appreciation Night – Friday, March 18 vs. Prince George Cougars
