KELOWNA – A cannabis advocate from Vancouver is launching a cross-country campaign in Kelowna and he’s giving away 100 free marijuana seeds to anyone who attends.

Dana Larsen’s Free Marijuana Tour will visit 14 cities across the country, starting with Kelowna tomorrow, April 5. His evening workshops will teach the history of cannabis in Canada, how to start a dispensary and he'll be sharing his plan to peacefully “overgrow” the government.

Larsen plans to give out seeds and encourage supporters to plant them in plain view, as a way to show their support for total legalization. There is no charge to attend the seminar.

Stops on the Overgrow Canada tour include Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Regina, Niagara Falls, Hamilton, St. Catharines, Etobicoke, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax.

He will be at the Prestige Inn in Kelowna starting at 7:30 p.m.

For more information on the Tour visit the Overgrow Canada website.
