PORT HARDY, B.C. - A magnitude 6.7 earthquake has struck off the coast of Port Hardy on northern Vancouver Island.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake was about 88 kilometres south of Port Hardy in the ocean and was at a depth of 10 kilometres.
Emergency Management B.C. says there is no tsunami warning for the West Coast, including B.C.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre says a destructive Pacific-wide tsunami is not expected.
