KELOWNA - RCMP would like to talk to an elderly woman who was nearly struck by a car during a police pursuit two weeks ago.

Mounties stopped a Silver Saturn SL1 outside Home Hardware located at 1650 Springfield Road. The 32-year-old driver was wanted on outstanding warrants and police believed the man was evading capture.

Officers used their vehicles to box the Saturn in, but the suspect sped away, hitting a police car and narrowly missing an elderly woman who was walking in the parking lot.

RCMP would like help finding the woman so they can speak with her.

Anyone with information can contact Kelowna RCMP, Const. Celli at 250-762-3300.
