KELOWNA - Mounties have seized a significant haul of guns and drugs from a West Kelowna home.

Police displayed numerous shotguns and semi-automatic rifles, as well as cocaine and methamphetamine confiscated from the house at a press conference today, July 13.

Police say a search warrant was executed at the home, located in the 2700 block of Windt Road in West Kelowna, July 7.

The Kelowna RCMP set up surveillance with the help of the South East District Emergency Response Team.

Two men and a woman were arrested and a seven-year-old child located inside the home was brought under the care of the Ministry of Child and Family Development.

A 24-year-old West Kelowna woman was questioned and released. A 37-year-old West Kelowna man is expected to appear in court Oct. 13 on possible drug and firearms related charges.

A 32-year-old West Kelowna man, Tyson Ashleigh Bone, remains in custody and has been charged with multiple charges including careless storage of a firearm, possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking.

More to come.
