Planned power outage for Penticton neighbourhood

A planned power outage in Penticton will affect residents overnight Friday, June 17, 206 bounded by the area designated "Stage Five" as shown on the map.

PENTICTON  - A number of Penticton power customers will be left in the dark tonight.

The city is planning to implement Stage Five of a series of planned power interruptions as upgrades of the city’s electric utility system continues.

Approximately 240 customers within Forestbrook Drrive, Edmonton Avenue, Nelson Avenue, Edna Avenue and the 1100- to 1300-blocks of Main Street will be affected by the outage, scheduled to take place from 11:30 p.m. today, June 17 to 4:30 a.m. Saturday, June 18.

Anyone with questions or concerns should contact Cara at the City of Penticton electric utility department at 250-490-2535.
