Plan for showers and cooler temperatures in Kamloops for the Labour Day long weekend

KAMLOOPS - The long weekend forecast from Environment Canada is looking rather wet, with Sunday being the only day without showers in the forecast.

Expect a mix of sun and cloud today, Sept. 1. There is a 30 per cent chance of rain in the afternoon. The predicted high for today is 21 Celsius.

Tomorrow doesn't look promising. Cloudy skies and a 70 per cent chance of showers are forecasted with a risk of a thunderstorm in the afternoon. The high temperature is expected to reach 19 C.

The weather smartens up on Saturday with a mix of sun and cloud and a 30 per cent chance of showers. The daytime high should reach 19 C and drop down to 9 C overnight.

On Sunday expect a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 21 C.

Right now, Labour Day Monday doesn't too bad. Plan for a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 per cent chance of rain. The high should reach 20 C.

The normal temperatures for this time of year are highs of  25 C and lows of 11 C.
