PENTICTON - The Penticton Vees Jr. ‘A’ Hockey Club is pleased to announce exhibition and regular season single game tickets go on-sale to the public Friday, August 14th, at 10 a.m. at the Valley First box office at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

Tickets for all three of the Vees home exhibition games are just $5 and season ticket holders have until noon, day of game, to reserve their seats.

The Vees exhibition home schedule starts on Wednesday, September 2nd, when they host the West Kelowna Warriors at the SOEC; puck drop is 7 p.m. The Vees and Warriors played a thrilling five-game Interior Division playoff series in March and the two will meet Wednesday, August 26th, in West Kelowna to open the exhibition schedule.

The Vees then host the Brooks Bandits from the Alberta Junior Hockey League for a pair of games on Friday, September 4th at 7 p.m. and Saturday, September 5th at 6 p.m. Despite playing in separate leagues, these two franchises are familiar with one another, as the Vees defeated the Bandits in five games to capture the 2012 Doyle Cup.

Under Head Coach Ryan Papaioannou, the Bandits have developed into one of the premier franchises in the AJHL. Papaioannou guided the Bandits to back-to-back AJHL championships in 2012 and 2013 and the 2013 RBC Cup championship. Brooks finished second in the AJHL’s South Division last season and lost out to the Spruce Grove Saints in the Gas Drive Cup Final.

Regular season single-game tickets also go on sale Friday and prices remain unchanged from last year. Adults are $13, seniors $11 and Students (18 and under) and children are free, courtesy of Peters Brothers construction*. Adult and senior single-game ticket prices will go up one dollar on game days.

The Vees open the 2015-16 BCHL regular season on Friday, September 11th, in Salmon Arm. The London Drugs Home Opener is on Wednesday, September 16th, against the Vernon Vipers. The Vees complete regular season schedule is available on their website, www.pentictonvees.ca.

*Student and Children ticket pricing is not applicable for premium seating at the SOEC.
