PENTICTON - A tournament featuring future NHL stars is returning to Penticton this September.
The Vancouver Canucks are hosting the Young Stars Classic for the sixth year at the South Okanagan Events Centre, the team announced today, June 23, in a press release.
The four-day event will be held Sept. 16 to 19 with teams for all four of western Canada’s NHL franchises: the Canucks, Calgary Flames, Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers. The teams will compete in a six-game round robin tournament.
