Penticton firefighters battle RV fire

A RV fire at Wright's Beach campground in Penticton Thursday, March 3, 2016 destroyed a motorhome.

PENTICTON - No one was hurt in a Pentction motorhome fire this morning.

Fire crews were called to Wright's Beach campground at about 9:15 a.m., March 3 to find the 22 foot, older RV engulfed in flames.

Deputy Fire Chief Dave Spalding says two engines and six firefighters responded, knocking the flames down quickly.

The two occupants of the RV escaped the fire unharmed. They are in the care of Emergency Social Services.

Spalding says the motorhome was destroyed in the blaze.
