PENTICTON - The Waterfront Enhancement Committee is making progress on the development of Peach Plaza by selecting design options.
The committee chose material options and a shape for the plaza to be constructed behind the giant peach along Lakeshore Avenue and Okanagan Lake Beach.
The plaza is part of the city’s waterfront enhancement project to beautify the area surrounding Okanagan Lake.
Construction for the plaza is expected to begin in the fall and will be paid for by funds from the 2014 budget.
