One dead, one injured in Clinton plane crash

CLINTON - Police say one man is dead and another injured in a small craft plane crash this afternoon.

Clinton RCMP were called to Green Lake Road near 70 Mile House shortly after noon today where they found the plane, says police spokesperson Cpl. Dave Tyreman. The 42-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The 74-year-old pilot was taken to Royal Inland Hospital in serious condition.

The RCMP, B.C. Coroners Service and Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
