— The multi-Golden Globe winning "Transparent" returns to Shomi for a second season on Dec. 12 and promo teasers hint at a big white wedding to come. All 10 episodes of the Amazon Studios show's second season will hit Shomi on the same day.
— For those looking to get into the holiday spirit, Netflix has a star-studded special starring Bill Murray premiering Dec. 4. In "A Very Murray Christmas," directed by Sofia Coppola, Murray plays a version of himself and worries that a brutal winter storm will keep a cast of celebrities from showing up to tape his variety show. Those celebs include George Clooney, Thunder Bay, Ont.-native Paul Shaffer, Amy Poehler, Brampton, Ont.'s Michael Cera and Chris Rock.
