KELOWNA - Hedley is set to make another stop in Kelowna, this time as part of the Hello World Tour 2016.

The B.C. natives announced the tour stop, which will include Carly Rae Jepsen, another B.C. favourite, and Francesco Yates, this week. The cross-country tour begins in Newfoundland in April and ends in Vancouver on May 20. The Kelowna concert on Tuesday, May 17, will be the only stop in the Southern Interior this time around.

With five consecutive multiplatinum albums so far the Juno Award-winning band is known for many top hits including Anything, Sweater Song, Never too Late, Wild Life and Kiss You Inside Out.

The 2016 tour is expected to bring the band even closer to the fans in a state-of-the-art stage production.

“Playing live is who we are, and going on tour is the ultimate way for us to interact with our fans,” frontman and creative force Jacob Hoggard says in a release. “We’re about to unveil the most spectacular tour we’ve ever embarked upon. We can’t wait to connect with each and every one of our fans, in person… and to pull some pretty amazing tricks out of our sleeves. We have amazing fans and we can’t wait to share this with them.”

Tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 6 at 10 a.m., the same day their new album Hello is released. Presale information will be on the band’s website on Oct. 30. VIP packages are also available at heldeyvip.com.

Tickets start at $35 and are available at www.selectyourtickets.com, by charge by phone at 250-762-5050 or at the Prospera Place box office.
