SICAMOUS – Highway 97A between Enderby and Sicamous is closed in both directions following a mudslide this morning.

Drive B.C. says the route is closed about 10 kilometres south of Sicamous this morning, March 14.

An assessment is underway and there is no estimated time reopening.

You can get around the closure by detouring on Highway 97B between Enderby and Salmon Arm or Highway 1, Drive B.C. says.

No word if any vehicles were caught in the slide or if anyone has been hurt.
