Married couple killed in motorcycle accident Sunday identified

Married couple Carol and Brian Thor, both 57, died at the scene when the motorcycle they were riding crashed with an SUV on Westside Road.

VERNON - Two people who died in a motorcycle accident on Westside Road, northwest of Vernon April 13 have been identified.

They were Carol Joyce Thor, 57 and her spouse Brian Thor, 57, from Vernon.

According to the B.C. Corners Service, Brian was the driver and Carol was the passenger on a motorcycle that collided with an SUV on Westside Road at about 9 p.m. Both died at the scene. RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk said the driver of the SUV, also a resident of the Okanagan didn't suffer any physical injuries.

The family of the Thors have been notified.

The B.C. Coroners Service continues to investigate.
