LOGAN LAKE - A man who died in a crash near Logan Lake Aug. 31 has been identified.

He was Courtney Philipow, 37, most recently of Campbell River.

At around 3:40 p.m. Philipow was driving a U-Haul moving van that hit the rear of a slow moving semi trailer in the northbound slow lane of the Coquihalla Highway, about 7 km south of the Logan Lake exit. He was the sole occupant. He was declared dead at the scene.

The B.C. Coroners Service continues to investigate.
