KAMLOOPS - Kamloops has ranked among the top romantic cities in the country, after sales results were analyzed by a major online retail store.
Amazon.ca released its fifth annual rankings of the ‘Most Romantic Cities in Canada’ today, and the Tournament Capital claimed the seventh spot.
The company compiled sales data from Jan. 1, 2013 to Jan. 3, 2014 of romance novels and books, romantic comedies and romantic music CDs on a per capita basis in cities with more than 80,000 residents.
Victoria, B.C. earned the top spot, ranking the highest in all categories and purchasing the most romance novels and relationship books, romantic comedy DVDs and romantic CDs.
