Last call for City Park concept plan feedback

The City of Kelowna wants your feedback on the City Park Concept Plan before online discussion closes at midnight on Monday, July 15.

A concept plan has been developed to help envision the future of City Park. Proposed changes include: a dedicated picnic area, separated cycling and pedestrian pathways, separation of adolescent activity areas from children's activity areas, improved waterfront access (boardwalk and diving tower), enhanced recreational infrastructure to serve a wider range of activities, improved circulation and a designated market/vendor area.

To share your opinions, visit kelowna.ca/mycitypark, review the plan and complete the online survey.

The preferred concept plan is expected to be presented to Council in the next two months. Park redevelopment will be subject to the availability of funding and reviewed as part of the long-term capital planning process.
