VERNON - Police in Saskatchewan are investigating the suspicious death of a Vernon teen.

Dylan Cordell Hanna was found lying on the ground, unresponsive, outside his temporary work residence in Kindersley, Sask. around 6 a.m. Sept. 14. The 19-year-old was rushed to Kindersley Hospital where attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.

Hanna was living at a multi-dwelling trailer park in an industrial area on the westside of Kindersley. According to the RCMP, a number of workers from various oil field companies reside there while working in the area.

Kindersley RCMP along with the major crimes unit, Saskatoon Forensic Identification Services, and the provincial coroner’s office are investigating the suspicious, sudden death. An autopsy is scheduled for later this week.

Posts by saddened friends have been pouring into Hanna’s Facebook page. His profile says he attended Kalamalka Secondary School.
