The organizers of a Kelowna music festival have rounded out their list of performers this year to include Hoobastank and Daughtry, among others.

We already knew Tom Cochrane, Theory of a Deadman, Our Lady Peace and 54-40 are performing and now they've also added Canada's Texas King and retro metal group Linam to the stage outside of Prospera Place July 12 to 14.

“Daughtry and Hoobastank are major additions to the 2024 Rock the Lake line-up,” says Mike Strawn of GSL Group. “We are committed to bringing bigger, more internationally acclaimed names to the Okanagan, and we believe that these artists’ touring successes prove the incredible energy they will add to the weekend.

"This year’s line-up is one of our most exciting to date and we’re more than thrilled with the variety of bands, exciting new site layout, and overall experience we have planned.”

More performers are still to be announced.

The outdoor festival has been rocking to sold out crowds of classic rock fans since 2016. It was moved from its usual August dates to July to avoid the height of fire season.

Tickets are currently on sale online. The pre-release tickets are already sold out.
