Kelowna's Gospel Mission holds first ever charity golf classic

KELOWNA - Kelowna’s Gospel Mission is looking for golfers to play in their first annual Charity Golf Classic on September 9th, 2016 at Sunset Ranch Golf & Country Club, 5101 Upper Booth Rd South, Kelowna to raise money to help the emergency shelter programs.

The tournament will be played in a best ball format and the cost to play is $200 per person or $750 for a foursome. Individual players received a $100 tax receipt and team of 4 receives a $350 tax receipt. Registration begins 11:30am with a shotgun start at 12:30pm, banquet and silent auction at 5:30pm. Interested golfers can register here.

Kelowna’s Gospel Mission’s Executive Director, Randy Benson, says “This is a great opportunity to help people in need while having a lot of fun and maybe evening winning one of our two hole in one prizes, a truck from Orchard Ford and a car from Harmony Honda.”

Kelowna’s Gospel Mission is a year round emergency shelter that also provides a wide rage of services for men and women in need in the central Okanagan.
