KELOWNA - The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Prince Albert Raiders 1-0 on Saturday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna on a night where thousands of teddy bears will be donated to Kelowna General Hospital.

Dillon Dube scored the only goal of the game, and Jackson Whistle stopped 27 Prince Albert shots in the win.

The win improved the Rockets record to a WHL-leading 24-4-3-0 on the season.

For Dube it was his second goal in just his sixth game of the season and thousands of teddy bears rained down on the ice in the Rockets annual Teddy Bear Toss for KGH.

The Rockets now head out for a five game road trip to Alberta beginning on Wednesday when they play the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

Kelowna will play five games in seven days on the trip, making stops in Medicine Hat, Calgary, Edmonton and Red Deer before returning to Prospera Place for home games Dec. 27 and 30.
