Kelowna firefighters take down fire at recycling centre

KELOWNA - Firefighters were called out overnight to a fire at a recycling plant on Cambro Road.

Around midnight, someone called 911 to report two large fires at the Cascades recycling plant, according to Kelowna Fire Department Platoon Capt. Eric Simpson in a release. The first responding engine and crew quickly knocked down the fire.

No other buildings or property were involved.
