KELOWNA - The Kelowna Chiefs received goals from six different players in an 8-2 victory over 100 Mile House on Saturday night.

The Wranglers, who were making their first ever stop at Rutland Arena, were quick to get on the board, at 13:02 in the first period thanks to a goal from Tyson Levesque.

Jordan Salahor (2G, 1A) netted two in the second period while Brady Mende (1G, 2A) and Alex Gran each added a single to wrap up the first 40 minutes of play with a 4-2 lead.

Kelowna took control of the entire third period, netting four goals including one on the power play from Nicholas Kovacik (2G, 2A).  Dylan Jamieson (1G, 1A) secured the victory, scoring with only 5:20 left in the period for an 8-2 win.

Tyler O’Donnell faced 23 shots between the pipes for his second straight win. He helped lead the team to a 6-0 shutout over Osoyoos Friday night.

Rutland’s very own Kelowna Chiefs get a couple days rest before welcoming the Princeton Posse on Tuesday, February 4th at Rutland Arena. Tickets for this game will only cost $5.
