KAMLOOPS - Police have arrested one of two suspects wanted in connection to a mailbox theft in Kamloops.

RCMP say a 24-year-old man was arrested on Saturday, Aug. 6 and is facing charges of theft and mischief.

He is scheduled to appear in court in October, according to a RCMP media release.

On July 27, mailboxes in a Tranquille Road apartment building were pried open and the mail was stolen.

Police say investigators have identified the female suspect and are now in the process of locating her.

Kamloops RCMP arrested one male suspect and are looking for the female in connection with a mailbox theft at an apartment building in the 1200 block of Tranquille Road on Wednesday, July 27, 2016.
