KAMLOOPS –  A lucky lotto player who bought their ticket in Kamloops/North Thompson is now a million dollars richer.

According to BCLC, five people across Canada matched five out of six of the numbers plus the extra on lotto 6-49.

The winning numbers were 15, 20, 23, 27, 39, 48, with 34 as the bonus, drawn on Dec. 24, 2016.

This winner joins this year's many lottery winners in the Thomspon-Okanagan.
