THOMPSON-OKANAGAN – Kamloops residents can expect to see a familiar face in the latest Hollywood picture filming in the Okanagan.

Local actor Dennis Cound garnered a small credit as the “sleepy man” in Go With Me – a suspense movie being filmed in Vernon and Enderby among other locations. Anthony Hopkins and Julia Stiles are currently filming on location.  Cound is set to join them to film a scene this Thursday.

“It’s pretty exciting to brush shoulders with (actors) of that calibre,” Cound said. “Anthony is one of my all-time favourite actors.”

Cound is particularly excited the role has earned him a spot to apprentice in the actor’s union so his name can be put forward for additional films.

“It’s pretty exciting, you know,” he said. “This is kind of the biggest thing I’ve done in my (acting) career.”
