KAMLOOPS – After playing dress-up for 16 years, the Pandora Costume Shop will celebrate its final Halloween before owner Marian Truscott closes the doors.
Truscott, a professional costume designer, is moving away from the retail sector of her industry to fully dedicate her time to designing costumes for several theatre companies.
Over her 30 years of designing, Truscott has sewn over 50 per cent of the roughly 4,000 costumes in her inventory. While she has typically resisted selling her unique pieces over the years, Truscott now plans to sell 95 per cent of the store’s stock.
The store is currently closed until Thursday, Sept. 18 when Truscott will hold her “once in a lifetime” sale.
