DETROIT - The Red Wings could get a big boost in their playoff series against the Bruins if Henrik Zetterberg is able to return for Game 4 tonight.

Coach Mike Babcock called Zetterberg a game-time decision, pending a doctor's appointment and pre-game warm-ups.

Zetterberg has not played since the Sochi Olympics because of a herniated disk in his back. His last NHL game was Feb. 8.

Detroit's captain was on a line with Pavel Datsyuk and Justin Abdelkader at the morning skate at Joe Louis Arena.

Babcock said he put Zetterberg on a line and on the power play because the discussion was even happening about the 33-year-old playing.

Winger Todd Bertuzzi is expected to play his first game since April 13.

Daniel Alfredsson (back) is out, but Babcock said he was hopeful the veteran would be ready for Game 5 Saturday back in Boston.
