Highway roundabout in Sicamous goes to open house

SICAMOUS - Plans for proposed highway improvements that could see a roundabout installed on Highway 97A in Sicamous will be presented to the public later today.

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure will present the project, which includes a roundabout at Highway 97A and Main Street, as well as intersection improvements at the highway and Paradise Avenue, at an open house today, Tuesday, May 5.

The public is invited to review the design and provide input and project staff will be on hand to answer questions.

The event takes place from 4 to 8 p.m. at Eagle River Secondary School on Main Street in Sicamous.
