UPDATE: Missing Vernon girl found safe in the Shuswap

VERNON - A Vernon teen missing for over a month has been located by police in the Shuswap area.

Suzan Clarke, 15, was found safe and sound in Chase the night of Dec. 2, after going missing from her group home Nov. 29

Police issued a press release asking for the public’s help finding her on Nov. 10 and again on Nov. 24.

“The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP would like to thank the media and everyone who called in and assisted in finding her,” RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk said.

VERNON - RCMP need help locating a missing teenage girl.

Suzan Clark, 15, has been missing from her group home since Oct. 29.

Clark is described as First Nations who is thin and petite. She is 4'9" tall and weighs 91 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Police were not told what she was wearing when she disappeared.

According to a media release, there's some indication Clark planned to run away to the Kamloops area. She is known to frequent Kamloops.
