PENTICTON - You may be seeing great deals on garden decor over the next little bit after thieves broke into a local garden store.

The Penticton GardenWorks store was broken into overnight Wednesday, June 1, RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says.

Thieves gained entry to the yard by cutting the fence and took several fountains and statues.

Wrigglesworth says some of the statues are made of resin, but would have been heavy enough to require at least two people and a truck to haul away.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300.
