PENTICTON - Emergency personnel responded to a series of explosions in a Penticton industrial area yesterday evening.
Around 9:30 p.m. yesterday, Dec. 7, a report of an explosion came in for Commercial Way in Penticton.
Eyewitness Skyar Noe-Vack could see a large plume of black smoke coming from the rear of a building at the corner of Commercial Way and Commercial Place and he could see visible flame coming from three different structures on the property.
One patient is believed to have been taken from the scene for treatment at Penticton Regional Hostpital.
Noe-Vack says crews were in mop up stage for the three-alarm blaze by 11 p.m.
