PENTICTON – British singer Englebert Humperdinck is disappointing his Okanagan fans by cancelling his Saturday concert at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

Humperdinck’s management team decided to move a couple of tour dates around after the signed was diagnosed with bronchitis.

It’s an attempt to give him enough vocal rest to make the rest of his tour schedule more manageable. The media release goes on to say his management team want to ensure Humperdinck completely recovers.

His concert scheduled for August 31 in Las Vegas has also been cancelled.

Humperdinck had shows in Regina, Calgary and Edmonton last week.

The singer is famous for his 1960’s hits Release Me, The Last Waltz and After the Lovin’.
