KAMLOOPS – A crash between a semi and a car on the Trans Canada near the Peterson Creek Bridge Sunday morning turned the highway through the city into a parking lot at times.
The accident ruptured the truck’s gas tank spilling hundreds of gallons of diesel fuel onto the road.
Traffic was detoured down Summit Drive until it was re-opened to 1-lane eastbound.
No word yet on injuries or when the highway will completely re-open.
More to come.
