UPDATE: Highway 97 reopened north of Summerland following crash

Highway 97 has reopened between Summerland and Peachland following a collision this afternoon.

The highway was closed in both directions this afternoon, Jan. 16, around five kilometres north of Summerland between Callan Road and North Beach Road.

RCMP said there had been a serious car crash but no other details have been released.
