A 76-year-old West Kelowna driver considers himself lucky after crashing his car into a home on Dobbin Road in West Kelowna.
The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. No one was hurt in the crash but the vehicle suffered major damage and the home may have had some structural damage. Police and fire rescue crews are on scene and examined the driver.
The driver mistook the gas and brake pedals and lurched across the busy street and into the home; luckily avoiding passing traffic.
"It's a good thing the street wasn't busy or I wouldn't he here talking to you," said Murray Fleming.
