PENTICTON - Penticton RCMP continued to deal with several reports of break ins across the city last week.

RCMP media liaison Rick Dellebuur says a white Jeep Cherokee was reported stolen from the 700 block of Westminster Avenue on Nov. 2. Police believe the Cherokee was then used in two thefts from vehicles later the same day.

A truck parked on Brandon Avenue was also broken into on Nov. 6. The owner’s wallet, which contained debit and credit cards and cash was taken.

A Polaris Razor 800 side-by-side ATV was taken from a Spiller Road address Nov. 2. The unit was taken from a trailer parked at the residence.

Police responded to a call of a break and enter at a Shingle Creek residence on Nov. 5, arriving at the property to find a shop on the site broken into. Power tools and a fuel tank with approximately 400 litres of fuel was taken.

Larsens Excel Tire Centre's fence was cut and several tires removed from the property, located on Okanagan Avenue, on Nov. 7.

Fifteen tires were recovered from the adjacent property. The incident continues to be investigated as it is unsure how many tires were taken.
