PENTICTON - Naramata’s boil water notice has been lifted.

The Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen rescinded a boil water notice for Naramata water system, effective today, May 18, according to a media release.

Source water quality tests indicate water quality improvement and are back within specifications of the systems’ UV Treatment Plant, the District says.

The Regional District will continue to monitor water quality as this year’s freshet continues. Changes in spring runoff may require re-implementation of the boil water notice.

For more information you can contact the Regional District at 250-490-4106.
