UPDATE: Body found at Salmon Arm high school, foul play ruled out

RCMP are investigating following the discovery of a body on the grounds of Salmon Arm Secondary, Monday, Feb. 1, 2016.

SALMON ARM - Foul play has been ruled out in the death of a man whose body was found on the grounds of the high school in Salmon Arm early this morning.

The body of a 27-year-old man was found at Salmon Arm Secondary on the school field around 7 a.m., Feb. 1, according to a RCMP media release. His identitied has not been released.

RCMP say the B.C. Coroner's Service attended the scene and determined there was no evidence of foul play and notified next of kin.

The Coroners Service has taken over the investigation.
