Bobbitt to plead on sex assault, assault charges

David Bobbitt is expected to make pleas on sex assault and assault charges today in Penticton Provincial Court.

David Bobbitt will appear in Penticton Provincial Court today and is expected to make pleas on assault and sexual assault charges.

Bobbitt has been accused of attacking a 22-year-old Penticton woman and her toddler son on July 30, 2011 at his store on Ellis Street. The two victims were allegedly confined for nearly a dozen hours. He was charged with aggravated assault, two counts of unlawful confinement, aggravated sexual assault, two counts of uttering threats and assault with a weapon.
