Be visible, Get Your Glow on targets TRU

KAMLOOPS - The City of Kamloops; in partnership with the RCMP, ICBC, and Kamloops This Week, are stepping up the Get Your Glow On! fall road safety campaign that launched on October 25th. Watch for targeted education and enforcement in and around the university campus next week.

With the onset of darker days and a variety of weather conditions, enhancing awareness around issues such as speeding, pedestrian safety, and the need for increased visibility is critical. The TRU campus has a population that encompasses pedestrians, motorists and cyclists and is a perfect venue to emphasize the “Get Your Glow On” message.

We continue to encourage all Kamloops citizens to wear the gear, practice the tips and spread the word about the importance of being seen. Be prepared for the unexpected!

Come on Kamloops, Get Your Glow On!

Be aware.
Take care.
Light up and be seen!
