Another rainy weekend on the way for Kamloops

KAMLOOPS - Clouds and showers are in the weekend forecast once again for Kamloops, with Sunday looking like the best of the two days weather-wise.

Today, Aug. 4, would be a good day to catch some rays with Environment Canada calling for sunshine and a high of 31 Celsius. The wind is expected to pick up to 20 kilometres per hour in the afternoon and evening.

Expect increasing cloud tomorrow with a 40 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon, a risk of a thundershower and a high of 29 C. The temperature will fall to 15 C overnight.

The forecast calls for clouds on Saturday with a 60 per cent chance of showers and a high of 26 C. The rain will continue overnight with a low of 15 C.

Sunday looks to be the best day of the weekend with forecasters calling for a mix of sun and cloud, a 40 per cent chance of showers and a high of 29 C. The chance of showers creeps up to 60 per cent Sunday night with a low of 14 C.

Normal temperatures in Kamloops for this time of year are highs of highs of 29 C and lows of 14 C.
