The accident investigation into a transport truck carrying lumber continues. The accident happened on July 15 and sent three people to hospital with minor injuries.

SUMMERLAND - The investigation continues into the accident on July 15 when a transport truck carrying two-by-four lumber flipped on its side and slid just north of Summerland.
The truck was heading south and took a right turn when it flipped on its side. The driver of a car heading north veered off the road, through a concrete railing and came to a stop upside down. Both drivers and the car's passenger were sent to two hospitals with minor injuries.
Summerland RCMP Cpl. Bruce Haley said the accident reconstructionist who was at the scene on July 15 has yet to file a report. This document will guide the RCMP on what to do next. The corporal does not know when he will see the report as the reconstructionist has other cases before him.
