Friendly competitiveness is a key to making the B.C. Senior Games a successful event.

KAMLOOPS - Inspiration, camaraderie and pride are the driving force behind the B.C. Senior Games in Kamloops right now and the evidence of this can be found around the city at the many different venues hosting the more than two dozen different events.
In total 3,700 participants have descended on the city, alongside more than 1,100 volunteers and hundreds more fans and supporters.
With sports like dragon boat racing, hockey and golf and lower key events like whist and cribbage on the agenda there is a myriad of different activities to be taken in now through Saturday.
