B.C. Coroners Service investigates death of woman at motel

Jubilee Motel's room 24 is where the woman, named Kimmie by neighbours, was living when she was found dead early Friday morning. The B.C. Coroners Service is investigating.

PENTICTON - The discovery of a dead woman early Friday morning at Jubilee Motel prompted a B.C. Coroners Service investigation.

Spokesperson Barb McLintock said the investigation has just begun and the service has no new details to disclose.

A small memorial was set up for the woman in a fountain in the motel's courtyard. The words, "You will be in our hearts forever & always Kimmie," was written on a memorial jar.

A motel neighbour said the woman named Kimmie was staying in room 24.
